I don’t know if you have observed it or not but, this is the time when memes are taking over the internet, Nobody like just to see your commercial and be like skip it ASAP!. Take Radhika Apte for Example, Netflix is using her for marketing, and its good. People are happy because they are enjoying it as Meme. Netflix is creating a good image of them & marketing there stuffs, Radhika Apte is enjoying it as a good publicity of her. All thanks goes to The Glitch. Which are the brains behind that. This was a good example for pun marketing, where we use jokes to do our marketing.
“Good content isn’t about good storytelling. It’s about telling a true story well.”
– Ann Handley
- An Egg Beats the Beauty of Kylie Jenner.
Firstly, lets appreciate Kylie Jenner who used her looks to make multi million dollar empire. She has over 125 Million followers. But this egg came out of nowhere and got 50 million likes, …! So this is not secret no more that people like good funny content over Sexy looking Instagram pics.
So, I think Normal looking guys like me still have a chance. You just need a good sense of humor. Wait! i don’t have that either 🙁
- People need positivity at least in their Social Media feeds.
Yeah, we all are gonna die soon. Climate change will kill all of us. “I know that, internet”. Please ! “show me something positive or funny”. This is the reason why meme pages are in a fast pace growth in social media. So as a Marketer you can Include Good Sarcastic jokes and Puns. To make a good image of your brand in the eyes of your consumers.
- Give the Punniest Customer Service reply when someone complains.
When people are behind the keyword, they have the power to say anything to anyone. So they will use the Power of Social Media to complain about you . But here is the thing as a much interesting way to answer, you can again use Sarcastic reply. Not a bad one, it should be a good happy sarcastic comment which should not harm the sentiment of your user. For example, someone complained about google Maps. And look what google replied about it.
